STOKED FAN

There is now an very long summary of the season two premiere episode "The Make-Out-Fake-Out" over at the Stoked Wiki.

No word about the finale airing in the US yet, so stayed tuned! 

Blaire just emailed me something and wanted to put it up for discussion. It's a season 2 spoiler, so be warned before you click.

We are currently working on revamping Stoked Fan - tons of new content, a new poll, a new layout, etc. But for now I'd like to know - what do you think was the best (and the worst) Stoked episode of season one? Post your thoughts in the comments, maybe we can get a discussion out of this!

New episodes have already begun airing regularly in Canada, so you should all probably go and join the Reef/Fin lj community for better updates.

Okay, so anyway, we haven't had a new episode in weeks so it's obvious we'd get excited when their summary for 'Grand Theft Whale Bus' was added to Wikipedia:

Fin's 14-year-old sister Sam comes for a visit. She's "so pretty" that Reef asks her out, causing Fin to be jealous. Lo flirts with one of the guest's (Bummer's younger brother!) and forgets about the kids causing her to get fired. Johnny starts to ask Emma out to a movie, but Ty overhears about the movie they are going to see (his favorite surf flick) and Emma askes him to come, making Johnny angry. The Kahuna opens up a "Grand Theft Whale Bus" which has a dance floor. Reef askes Sam out to go dancing, and Fin decides to go (she claimed she was just "bored" when Broseph asked her why). Fin starts dancing with a hot guy, making Reef jealous! Then the sisters somehow end up fighting. Reef dumps Sam when Sam calls Fin a "No-talent, unattractive, kook like surfer!". The guy Fin was dancing with asks Sam out. In the end, Reef and Fin do a slow-dance (which turns into a playful food fight) together.

It's supposed to air on the 22nd of December for US fans,  but is the summary real or fan made?

Meh, we won't know till it airs but it would be nice to have a Reef-Fin centric episodes (they haven't had a subplot just to themselves since Episode

As you are most likely aware, Canada nor the US are yet to see new episodes.

We don't know why new episodes aren't airing, but everyone at Stoked Fan racked their brains and came up with an idea:

6teen is ending (*tear*) so both Cartoon Newtork and Teletoon are airing 6teen episodes instead of Stoked episodes.

We don't know how long this episode hiatus wil end, but the US has still needs to see 9 more episodes, and Canada needs to see about 12, right?

Well.

Episode 15 just aired.

Anyway, here is a summary:

After Fin and Emma catch Stone Seabreeze (who Lo claims to be dating) kissing another girl, they do their best to terrorize Stone to get back at him for "cheating on Lo"; Meanwhile Reef creates a "surf crew" to take Ty, Ripper, and Lance's new surf spot.

Well, hum. Really, I was fairly bored with this episode. Unlike Episode 14 there wasn't anything significant/very funny about this episode. Hopefully next week's epsiode will be better.

If anyone can tell us anything about the episode that aired in Canda last week, do let us know! (and if one aired today as well!)

Episode 14 ? Boards of Glory just aired on Cartoon Network! I just finished watching it and typed up a brief summary:

Lo convinces Reef and Fin to participate in a Tadem (spelling?) contest, eager to score a victory to impress her father. When Reef accidently drops Fin and dislocates her shoulder, Broseph is forced by Lo to become Reef's partner with Fin coaching the pair. Meanwhile Johnny and Emma pose as a couple in order to film the team Reef and Broseph are up against and Reef makes attempts at giving Fin flowers.

By far one of the best episodes so far! The name is (obviously) a throw to the film Blades of Glory where to male figure skaters compete together in the pairs division. It doesn't matter what you watch Stoked for (the humor, the romances, certain characters, etc) you?ll find a way to enjoy this episode!

As far as subplots went, Johnny and Emma had a very small one that was tied in with the bigger plot (mostly they were just doing a little favor for Lo) but if you like Johnny/Emma then it's good to see. And if you like Ty/Emma, there is a wee bit of that pairing at the beginning of the episode as well.

But one of the main highlights from the episode was the large amount of Reef/Fin we saw, which completely made up for the lack of Reef/Fin in the past few episodes. It looks like those two may actually be going somewhere (gasp!) and possibly in one of the next episodes, me thinks!

I have the episodes saved on my DVR, so tomorrow I'll recap the episodes for anyone who didn't get the chance to see it and will update this post with a link to the recap tomorrow morning (I don't have classes tomorrow so that's what I'll spend my morning doing)

Next Episode: Next Thursday (October 15th) at 9:30, Cartoon Network will being airing Episode 12 Groms Gone Wild versus an episode all of us US fans haven?t seen via youtube. So we won't be posting anything till the 22nd it seems! That is unless Blaire can get us a summary for Episode 15 as she did last week for Episode 14 (she?s so lucky, her DVR tells her all the summaries for the episodes airing during the next two weeks)

UPDATE: Blaire got us a summary! Here is the summary for Episode 15 set to air on October 22nd @ 9:30 PM on Cartoon Network:

Lo lies about being in a relationship with Stone Seabreeze.

Not to exciting, however Cartoon Network's summaries are fairly small and a bit misleading (for Episode 14, they said Lo couched the Tadem team, when acutally Fin did. Lo just arranged the whole thing)

UPDATE: Someone has managed to get their hands on a copy of Episode 14 and has uploaded it on to youtube. The quality isn't great, but none the less. Parts 1, 2, and 3.

I heard something about an episode that aired last week in Canada. Something about a haunted room...but as alway, let us know.

Reminder: Thursday night @ 9:30 on Cartoon Network Episode 15 (Chum Music) will be airing on Cartoon Network. I (or maybe Blaire) will post a breif summary by no later than Friday afternoon.

Oh, and if you care, Claire wrote this very, um, nice livejournal entry about why Reef should kick Marshall's (guy Fin dated in Episode 13)...butt (well she used a diffrent word)
